To build Barguna Sadar Thana under Barguna District as a role model of peace, order and security by ensuring the safety of every citizen through trustworthy, competent, efficient, dedicated and professional policing. In addition

1. Suppression of terrorism, control of law and order situation.

2. Conducting anti-drug activities and bringing drug abuse to a minimum with the aim of building a drug free Bangladesh.

3. Raising social awareness to curb militancy.

4. Coordinate with other agencies involved in law enforcement.

5. Creating public awareness through Open House Day, community policing and public relations meetings.
