Counter-terrorism and militancy, drug eradication, rehabilitation of drug addicts, anti-drug and anti-militant rallies, raising awareness about the evils of drug use, establishing friendly police relations with the public through community policing, gathering reliable information on crime through recruitment of reliable sources By revealing the secrets of the case and arresting the notorious terrorists, Barguna Sadar Thana police have ensured law and order and security of the people's property. In the last 03 years, a total of 1410 cases related to arrest / warrant GR / CR Tamil, recall, other disposal, robbery, rape / gang rape, murder, kidnapping have been filed and a total of 35 cases have been filed against the accused. A total of 72 drug cases, 6 kg 75 gms of cannabis, 609 yaba tablets of yaba tablets, 16 liters of denatured drugs were recovered and 8 accused involved in drug trafficking were arrested, rehabilitation of 06 drug addicts, more than 75 cases. Various activities have been conducted including organizing police meetings and 39 open house days. Also in the office of Officer-in-Charge Barguna Sadar Thana, Barguna, reviewing the progress of the case, correcting the errors of investigation, taking necessary steps to solve the problem including legal advice of the public to the officer-in-charge, compiling drug related database, preparing list of drug dealers.
